If you were the commissioner of baseball, what changes would you make?

I would make it so that the teams with the best record make it to the playoffs. The AL east has three contenders. One of them is not going to be in the post season, even though they will have a better record than another first place team. It is ridiculous that there will be a better team that will have to sit out the post season.
