Anyone know how I can coax my lost dog to come out from hiding ?

My new dog- who is very timid got away from me the minute I brought her home! She is running scared for 5 days now! She's an indoor dog and knows nothing of the outdoors and especially in my town as I got her from another state. Help me please! Any ideas will be greatly appreciated!
