Rlationship probss. please answer?

i need help. well yesterday i went home with these two guys wes and preston. i have like preston for a long time and we dated about 8 months ago and broke up after that . well he told everyone in the school he liked me and he was gunna ask me out yesterday evening when we were at wes's house. but the thing is .. is he dated 1 girl named katlyn for like 3 months ... then went out with this girl named sarah for like all of 5 days. so he asked me out and we went to this halloween thing together. then he broke up with me and said he needed space. i dont get it .. he broke up with me two hours after we went out. it really confused me and i still like him ... but today when i tried to talk to him .. he wouldnt talk . i dont understanddd... someone help me!!!??
