Popcorn Flavoring???

Ok so since it seems to be healthier now my family has decided to get our own popcorn maker and pop our own popcorn. It is great except for the fact that the popcorn is really bland and we have tried everything to make it have that ery taste, real er shrinks it and that powder stuff just sinks right to the bottom, we even tried to use pam to make it stick it just doesnt work please help.
