I am trying to install service pact 2 , but its saying that cannot detect the hard disk?

when i am trying to install window XP2 operating system , after loading the files , the message is coming that cannot detect the hard disk , please tell me as soon as possible , i got virus so i want to format then install fresh operating system , please help me out
